wide. In Singapore, it is compulsory for new workers who are exposed to excessive noise to be given training by
competent instructors within 3 months of their employment as well as every 3 years thereafter for existing
workers.

Companies who fail to comply with this requirement will be penalised. In addition, exposed

workers who fail

to attend the course will (for the first time) be held responsible and penalised

under the Regulations.

The Program will cover the following topics and more:

1. Relevant provisions of the Act and Regulations

2. Effects of noise on hearing

3. Purpose of hearing protectors

4. Advantages and disadvantages and attenuation of various types of hearing protectors

5. Selection, fitting, use and care of hearing protectors

6. Purpose of hearing tests

7. Appropriate procedures and requirements of such tests.

There will be an MCQ

assessment after the Course and Certificate of Attendance will be

issued for

successful candidates.

ERGONOMIC TRAINING PROGRAM

Poor Ergonomic is the root cause of many "modern" Office diseases such as

Neck, Back and Limbs pain and stiffness
De Quervain's (Wrist)Tendinitis
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

The program may include all or any of the following depending on company needs and

budget:

Learning and Empowerment (Group)

Conduct primary survey and epidemiological assessment
Supported by Senior Occupational Health Physician and Occupational Therapist
Talk on identifying common work related disorders due to office work with self evaluation
questionnaire
Establish the incidence of these disorders among the participants.
Talk on the principles of office work station ergonomics
Stretching exercises to prevent common musculoskeletal disorders (please ensure sufficient space
in the room for the participants)

OCCUPATIONAL FIRST AID AND REFRESHER TRAINING PRO

GRAM

The Occupational First Aid and Refresher Courses which are accredited by Ministry of

Manpower. Each

successful trainee will be awarded a certificate valid for 3 years upon

successful completion of the

Courses.

Drawing from our years of experience and knowledge in managing casualties from all types

of industries

including Petrochemicals, Electronics, Manufacturing, Hospitality and

Shipbuilding, we will be providing

your designated first aid providers the training that is

relevant and comprehensive.

Our aim is to impart to each and every trainee the necessary skill and empower them with the

confidence

to deliver the appropriate first aid treatment to their injured colleagues safely and

be prepared for both

known and unknown dangers at all times.
